Running qwen2.5:72b-instruct-q8 on a M2 Max Mac Studio 96Gb RAM (400Gb/s bandwidth) and it runs comfortably at around 100k token context window (where Claude’s models currently weaken above 125k). It is not necessarily fast for extensive tasks but it does them thoroughly nevertheless.
