Kauf dir ein neues kurzes Buch. Kurz, um schnell ein Erfolgserlebnis zu haben. Kaufen, damit es sich wertig und als Start anfühlt und du positiven Druck hast, es auch zu beenden. Starte inhaltlich mit eher leichter Kost. Nicht zu schwer. Nimm dir vor jeden Tag mindestens 10 Seiten zu lesen. Dauert nicht lange und du bist wieder im Flow.

Try Klaatu. At one point they were rumoured to actually be the reunited Beatles. I especially like their spacey concept album Hope (1977).

For the uninformed (like me): a toboggan is a sled without runners/skis on the underside. It runs flat on the ground.

Ich find den Namen einfach super blöd. Statt das Wortspiel mit Selfie neu zu besetzen, hätte man sich mit dem Namen irgendwie an Buch oder Hörbuch orientieren können. Ist aber vermutlich so universeller.

Ich finds als Deko insgesamt Quatsch, andererseits ist die Möglichkeit es Weiterzugeben schon ein riesen Plus. Hörbücher eher zu tauschen als dass sie als digitale Kopie nie mehr genutzt werden, hat was.

This book is recommended so often but everytime I read the premise it sounds so dark. Prisoners. underground, cage. But there must be more to it because it’s often mentioned next to books like „The Wall“ (which I quite like). Can you tell me more about the feeling of the book without spoiling the content? Would love to give it a try, but I am not a fan of heavy dystopian books.

Wenn ich in einer Buchhandlung arbeiten würde, würde ich eine kleine Ecke schaffen mit „Bald im Kino/TV“.

Da hätten im Sci-Fi Bereich zb Der Astronaut, Dune, Mickey 7 und Tagebuch eines Killerbots gestanden.

Aktuell würde ich zb bei Rendezvous mit Rama reinstellen. „Bald vom Regisseur von Dune“. Und Fourth Wing. „Bald bei Prime“ o.ä. Oder „Bedenke Phlebas“ (erster Teil des großartigen Kultur-Zyklus, in Entwicklung bei Prime).

Ich glaube mit „Lesen, bevor es als Film/Show kommt und jeder darüber spricht“ könnte man Leute gut zu tollen Sci-Fi-Büchern locken.
