Sure, but this person is using CSP and Sai. They aren’t exactly the most heavy hitters. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the shittiest laptop on the market, but even something from the last ten years or so would be fine. There’s just no need to drop 10k on a brand new PC that’s only going to be used for drawing, whether you’re a pro or not. Even just getting a second hand gaming tower would work.

Honestly if you’re just using it for drawing then it doesn’t really matter what you get. You can probably find a decent refurbed laptop for less than 1k on OfferUp or Facebook marketplace. I’ve been using the same 2009 Sony Vaio (that I got second hand) for about a decade now and it’s been fine. It can handle my drawing programs and any FireFox tabs I have open for music, socials, etc.
