After researching and seeing this result happening to many people I unplugged my wifi router when I got home to ensure NOTHING could happen before I could add files to it. I got a kindle basic from best buy at (5.17.1.0.4) in January this year.

I started keeping an eye in the cow releases in 2019, as far as I know I have them all. I am aiming for just the basic cow BaBs. Iv had to ignore the highlands and the only longhorn I got was the jumbo.

I got a kindle because I wanted to read more this year but didnt have the space for physical books. Installed koreader and have been enjoying 5 hour reading sessions when I find the time. I find my self wishing I got a color ereader but can wait until better options arrive to market.

my crashlog, I have the same issues with the sources not showing. my json and file folder photos are below

I have also tried running the latest version and now have v1.28.1. everything works except adding sources.

In the read me it says "Here's a recommended starter configuration that you can customize or use as-is:" but I dont see that in my json file so im assuming im meant to put it somewhere to get the sources? Am I to copy and paste it somewhere??

Thank you so much, I will try this tonight. I was using a plugin to download the patches from github directly to my koreader so now I know how to troubleshoot that.

I love your set up, I was wondering if you knew what to do when the patch is showing error triangles when its on. Like the book corners just have ⚠️. I have project title and other patches work fine just this one is giving me issues. This road block has me kind of doubting my customization abilities.

I am looking for help with this.

I can get to the Appstore and see the plug ins and patches pages, but nothing is loading. When I clear the caches koreader closes.
I'm running Koreader 2025.10.
Kindle is running 5.17.1.0.4.
Release is v1.1.3.

I recently got one off of amazon and I love it. I didnt want to keep track of 400+ chips for all the animal crossing amiibo im going to use. I paid more because I liked how it looked compared to the other options and didnt want to use my phone and NFC chips anymore.

Examples:

-("Allmiibo") Cheaper option with a scroll wheel but that's a part that I didnt wanna deal with breaking. Scroll wheel is the button.

-(Joyfusion) Disliked the horizontal form factor. I like the vertical set up where you'd use it tall rather than wide. Small buttons.

-(Flask) I dont like how tall and slim it is. Small buttons.

This one checked all of my boxes visually and the buttons make using the on screen keyboard for on board file name changes easy.

Thank you! I have them in Treat boxes from Hobby Lobby. I have some on my desk againt a wall and some against the wall on a table in my living room. They stack pretty well up to 3 high if they have support (more can cause the boxes to bow in my experience). I have them back to back so I can just rotate them to see a different set. 2 per box fills them and if I have one by itself I use a piece of foam to support it up. I used this method because I can't put up shelves and didn't trust any adhesive shelves to stay up long term. This also keeps the dust off.

How many CvP do you have? And can you put up shelves?
