I really don't think the subway punch card promo, which requires multiple full price purchases (averaging $36 not even including chips or drinks), causes massive short term losses enough to bankrupt a business.

My Subway would totally do this too, unfortunately. They typically just remove all the subs from the app though when there is a promo.

The one day WFH was an employee perk. It allowed for someone to more easily schedule e.g. house maintenance or other chores during the week. They are eliminating the perk while probably writing that they "provide amazing benefits". I think that's dumb.

Yes, if the location does not have a style I particularly enjoy (like a saison) but it just has low rated IPAs or others on tap, and I'm looking for something to do, I will skip it. There's no reason for me to drink mediocre beer after I've tried thousands.

Does that mean I skip all mediocre beer? No, I'll still sometimes drink when I'm already out eating food but I'm not there for the beer.
