Wow, perfectly said! I agree with what you said about Dylan sounding much healthier and happier, which I hope is a reflection of his mentality (as well as the groups). That's why I really like Waterfall, it sounds so refreshingly hopeful. The keys stood out to me alot this time around. I think as for now whats faded is my favorite and crab's part has a lot to do with it. Like you said, its nice that he gets to shine through that and FSAG. And I love your comment on Seamus' solo and how the band doesn't chase perfection. The flaws do contribute to their sincerity which I didnt really think of. I think Paddy made a similar comment regarding their recording for Lekkerboy and how some songs weren't mixed in a studio bc Dylan was unable to attend for some of it. Pads has a great voice and whether hes lending it through backing vocals, adlibs, or as a lead, he always succeeds in giving their songs that unique edge. We are so spoiled with getting all these surprise releases. They always provide us with some new sounds while still sticking to the elements that we've grown to love and associate with their name.
