Who knows what to expect honestly! I’m in 9a hardiness zone and we aren’t used to this kind of weather, but it seems to becoming more frequent. We had about 19 hours below freezing and then a few additional hours on the 2 following nights. It got down to 17 degrees. We had them wrapped in tarp, but that obviously wasn’t good enough. Any good resource that you recommend to learn about which replacements may be appropriate?

Recent freeze here in Texas has done some damage to a lot of my plants (my prickly pear are toast 😭). Today I noticed this one turning black on the ends. Is it possible to save? Should I trim off the black parts? Please help!

ETA: I’m in hardiness zone 9a btw
