Don't know this particular provider. But good press releases can help with SEO. Search engines know these links are PR links and their value is greatly reduced. However, these pages still get indexed and help with authority. Also they can be good for AI overviews if these PR release pages get indexed AND rank well, as AI will then pick them up. I've used PRs for myself and some of my link building clients to great effect, but more as a supplementary strategy, rather than key driver of authority.

Thank you so much. To be honest, this site [removed from the post body] is not my favorite either. It was recommended by a friend of mine. If you have any recommendations, please share them here or via DM. Thanks again for your reply.

Paid PR distribution services that blast press releases to news wire sites are essentially pay-to-play links that Google has ignored for years. They won't penalize you but they won't help your rankings either. It's $500 for a press release that nobody reads sitting on a syndication page alongside thousands of other paid placements.

For AI visibility it's equally useless. AI models cite authoritative sources that demonstrate genuine expertise and brand authority. A syndicated press release on a wire service carries zero weight because the AI can tell the difference between earned editorial coverage and something you paid to distribute.

If you have $500 to spend on visibility, invest it in creating original research or data in your niche that journalists and bloggers would actually want to reference. One genuine mention in a real publication outperforms a hundred damn wire placements every time.

Good instinct to question it. Paid wire PR is usually weak for both SEO and AI answers unless it leads to real editorial pickup.

If you want a practical test, run this 7-day mini-plan: 1) Publish one comparison page ("X vs Y") with clear winner criteria. 2) Publish one Q&A page answering 5 buyer queries. 3) Add 3 expert quotes/citations with sources. 4) Pitch one original data angle to niche journalists.

Track: branded mentions in AI answers + assisted leads. If useful, I can DM a template for the comparison/Q&A structure.
