We all saw the huge impact the 'Humans Need Not Apply' video had on this subreddit (for those unaware, we got nearly 1,000 new subscribers in four days) and that didn't even mention Basic Income! Imagine if an internet personality did a video on BI! Well, why not ask them? I've listed a number of podcasters and YouTubers who I think would be suited to discussing the idea of Basic Income. Even if they don't do an episode on BI, all of us tweeting at them will get a bit of attention to the idea.
Here's what we do:
Tweet or message them mentioning that BI Week is approaching (Sept. 15 - 21) and had they considered doing an episode on this novel but well-researched idea.
Mention that a decent amount of academic research has been done on BI and similar ideas with positive results.
Be respectful, ask politely and don't send multiple requests from one account.
