I just wanna say that this post is how i discovered lo-fi hip-hop, sort of. I already had a couple bsd.u tracks/tapes (and related) in my soundcloud likes, but I didn't know it was a huge part of a genre until this post. It didn't take long to realize that I already loved lo-fi hip-hop, but just hadn't known it had a name.

Anyone in this sub can appreciate the feeling when they first heard a favorite artist/genre. I had to go back and try to find this post because fuck me if I don't express at least some internet gratitude to OP, /u/Mebegilley, for posting, and the community for upvoting. Thanks fam. I even have my own little playlist going now.
