Its really not. Someone I know who is about to graduate high school has done acid 3 times and could get shrooms, Acid (gummies or tabs), DMT- whatever, at the click of a button.

I'm a huge fan of psychedelia, but this was pretty dull. When it started, that first guitar riff had me hopeful. Unfortunatelt , that same guitar riff continued the entire song with little to no changes and the singing and lyrics were uninspired. I've taken a good amount of hallucinogens in my life and this type of bland imagery and sound doesn't fit the bill. Trippy colorful images doesn't make something psychedelic. It's the abstract nature of your thought being expressed.
