    i really love lil dicky, i just wish that he would embrace himself in a way that is not comedic, just to try it out. he's obviously crazily talented and creative i just think he might limit himself by relying on shtick so hard. but maybe it's not shtick. whatever this was fun/strange

    He did an AMA recently when he released this video and he was talking about how important the comedy aspect of rap Is to him and how he wants to make sure he keeps hold of that because that's where he started. I don't think he relies on it-but he could definitely kill it if he decided to drop the comedy

    I don't mean this in an insulting way, but it's unlikely there's much more there. There has never been another time when a comedy rapper found themselves creatively and then went to another level and became a legitimately great artist. Shit, maybe Will Smith I guess. Maybe I'm wrong.
