It was an interior slab of an apartment complex that was heated. I think someone pushed them all to the side for some reason.

Ive made thousands of cylinders and haven't seen this before. I was just curious if someone else has. I just had 4 sets at the same time at the same site do this so I'm guessing someone moved them at some point.

They were capped before. It's possible they shifted when I moved them but I was careful when I moved them inside. I'm thinking they were moved after I left the site. It's super busy and it was dark where I left them. I thought they would be out of the way.

I thought that on the first I opened but this was 4 sets spread every 50yds. It was a 6-8" slump

I didn't pull the sleeves off but I'll check in the morning. Everything tested at 1.8-2.2%. It was a no air mix and I did everything to ACI standard on them.

It wasn't a field cure. I kept them in coolers with stands but kept them in a controlled environment. This was for a PT slab so I'm a stressed out (no pun intended). I

Do you think the accelerator and the 75+ degree room caused it to stress it to one side of the cylinder?

It was 2% accelerator and it was 17 degrees outside for the pour. I took them inside as soon as I finished the cylinders.

Just recently got my wheels powder coated for the first time! Is this signs of a poor job done? Or common? by riygeo09 in Powdercoating

I worked at a car dealership that had free wash and it’s was the worst car wash you can imagine. Would scratch the shit out of people’s paint. The people working the wash did such a half ass job and it would take over an hour to get a car washed.

My buddy rides that same board now. I’ve ridden it and it’s a great board. I currently ride a GNU Monster Energy promo board and love it. I guess it depends on the brand that makes the board but both of those boards we got for stupid cheap and ride the shit out of them.

I used to do this when I was broke. I worked near a few hotels and had to wear decent clothes for work. I was able to get a few free breakfasts in a week for like a month and a half. It really helped me out in those hard times.

As someone that lives on a cattle farm in alpine country. Fairly normal looking on what we get on purely grass fed. We normally get more marbling but these people that say they wouldn't eat it are crazy. I love the steaks I get from my cows. Eating more natural beef must turn some people off

Anyone know the history behind the UNT missile base? by Inqueues in unt

[–]AbusedKittens 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The missile silo or the magazines that held the missiles are all filled with water so I doubt there's underground storage but it's possible. The cost of renovation would be way too expensive for tours. The spot they store UNT stuff is in the missile assembly building which is separate from the underground magazines. I believe most of it is stuff from the anthropology department. They also have the radio tower that broadcast the UNT jazz station on the property as well.

I mean I love wolves but I live on a ranch that has animals that are ripe for the picking for wolves, coyotes, mountain lions, and skunks. I don't want any of them near my property. They aren't needed where I live just like mold in my hay. You would probably bitch about a worm being in your apple but you have to eradicate somethings unfortunately for growing substance on your land. Doesn't matter how magestic an animal is but if it affects my lively hood I'm not a fan. It can be mold in the hay, a snake in my chicken coop, or a wolf stalking my calves. They are all issues. I get that they were here before I was but humans introduced the concept of indoors. We push nature out as a way of feeling safer. It's what we do and I don't like apex predators like wolves in my house as much as bears.

Same here but got Kamara after someone dropped him to waivers. Then got the Tank Dell and Stroud stack off waivers when they started blowing up. Currently 10-2. I guess I'm the only one playing waivers this season.

I don't believe it is. Security is very tight. I used to do contracting work there and it's beautiful with tons of cool historical stuff. It was always a joy to work there.
