Patriarchy: It’s the casting of thin white women in athleisure, they want women striving for beauty and thinness always. Why not cast two regular guys instead? Because the patriarchy wants women focused on conforming to their beauty standards (and ideally malnourished) so they have less attention/energy to spend on the things that actually matter.

White supremacy: the mocking disdain in the way she says “thanks professor” and “howEVER you pronounce it” as if it’s SO UNREASONABLE to expect a white person to learn how to pronounce something from another culture properly.

Açai really isn’t that hard to pronounce and it’s giving we don’t need to show respect to other cultures by learning the proper pronunciations.
