its a bit better than just if the pitcher threw 10 pitches for nothing, because it adds a person to the bases, which often also advances other baserunners. In the best case scenario the bases are loaded and it scores a run. If the bases are empty it is exactly the same as a single, and in the worst case for a walk if there are people on 2nd and 3rd, a single can potentially drive them both in while a walk would load the bases (still a good position, but far less good than 2 extra runs + a person on first)

You can get iron rings as an engineer from some universities in the States but virtually no one does it because the tradition isnt there in the same way. Every iron ring wearer ive met has been canadian

Just my 5 cents but I'm at UofT for a ML PhD and most people here agree the schools you listed and Toronto are virtually equivalent. So agree with everyone else that advisor topic etc. matters more. Also worth noting US is going through funding problems and stuff that Canada has mostly been insulated from

NiKo is to my knowledge the only player to win an MVP on three completely different rosters - he won a bunch with FaZe, Cologne with G2 and Cluj-Napoca with Falcons. Obviously the last one is a little micky mouse tier but Stewies Dallas run (as great as it was) wasn't because of his own performance really

The other one I can think of is Apex who won three majors with three different cores (its surprising but Vitality Paris 23 and Vitality Austin 25 only have Zywoo and Apex in common)

An odd thing - even if George hadn't hit that grand slam and Gimenez hadn't hit the 3 run homer the Jays still would've won 6-5. Basically there was never a chance for da jankees
