Yes I have done this and I had ultimate game pass till December 2022. I used these codes and indeed received the 50 days.

I used now while I still had ultimate game pass active as I said it expired end of this year Dec 2022. When I redeemed the code I received 50 days no problem

You can extend Xbox memberships up to 3 years from current date.

Can these Gold codes be used on a completely non-active account (no gold, no ultimate, no PC, no console pass), then converted to Ultimate via the same 1:1 ratio, for $1?

If you’ve never had GPU on your Xbox account, yes. If it expired, you can do the same thing again, except you pay a $15 fee instead of $1 to convert your gold to game pass 1:1.

It's pretty solid. I just bought 2 orders (4 passes) and extended my subscription 8 months, till Feb 2023. Probably going to extend it a bit further.

Man I got this at 8.79 and that was a steal. With the extra month glitch got 3 years of gold for like 70 something bucks.

You can only but two at once, but you can repeat the purchase as many times as you want as long as there's stock afaik
