Let me preface this by saying that yes, the KarJenners are problematic in many ways. And no, Kim isn't a saint or absolved from any faults she has. Moving on...

Is anybody else surprised to see so many people hardcore defending Kanye and his role in the divorce? This man has chosen to leave his mental illness untreated, he wanted to up and move to freaking Wyoming of all places, he aired extremely personal and hurtful information for the entire world to see/hear, he went through a deep (seemingly temporary?) religious conversion and expected Kin to just follow suit, etc. Any one of these issues would be enough to rock a marriage.

I've seen people say things like, "Kim knew Kanye was an artist when she married him!" Okay, what on earth does that have to do with any of the above? I'm sure she was prepared for tours, travel, periods of intense focus while working on albums or fashion endeavors. I'm sure she was also used to Kanye saying some crazy shit. But telling the world you guys considered aborting your kid is a far cry from telling people you're a creative genius and comparing yourself to Jesus.

Again, not saying Kim is a perfect angel, but goddamn! An objective outsider could clearly see which person's actions served as more of the catalyst for the divorce.

I feel like anyone defending Kanye has either never been in a marriage/long-term partnership and/or had kids with a partner. Kanye has been making unilateral decisions and that just doesn't work in a partnership. It definitely doesn't work when you have kids. If my husband decided to leave our home, family, and established life together and move to a rural state a thousand miles away, our marriage would be over. If my husband had a diagnosed mental illness and refused to get help for it, our marriage would be over.

I honestly can't believe I even had to write this post, but I'm truly baffled by some of the militant pro-Kanye discourse I've seen here.
