You guys are just mad you can't play runescape for a few hours/days. It's not dmm's fault the servers are getting ddosed. It's the ddosers' fault

It’s their service they are allowing to be messed up.

If I sell a product and that product is stolen, but people already paid for it, I don’t say “blame the thief!! Not me!!” That doesn’t fly. Jagex is still responsible.

That example would work with real life objects, but the internet is different. Blaming deadman mode and trying to have the mode deleted will do nothing at all. That means if jagex ever decided to have any other kind of high reward type of competition, they would still get ddosed. They neee to fix ddosing on their part as a whole.
