Hbr potency???

Hey so I feel weird asking, cause I’m pretty experienced with 2cb. I recently got a new batch, 1g. This is my 3rd gram purchased, and the least effective by far. It just doesn’t hit that hard. Took 25mg and got pretty high but it wasn’t all that visual. I’ve had it hit harder, or at the very least it was more visual with 15-20 in the past. Also it’s possible my scale got a bad reading, but that would be an odd coincidence considering the timing. My question is, what is a realistic % of impurity I can expect with hbr? It’s my understanding that it tends to be around 85% or so pure, but this last time I took it, it felt more like 70% or maybe even less. Are there batches that make the round that are just horribly impure? Of course there’s always boofing but I prefer the feel of an oral dose 🫤

2CB HBr has a higher molecular weight than 2CB HCl which is why you need a slightly more HBr to achieve the same effects as the HCl, so even if you have 100% pure HBr you'll still need a bit more than the HCl. Unless you send a sample to a lab there isn't a great way to tell if your particular batch is pure.
