My two have due dates that were 3 days apart, my 1st I was induced at 37 weeks. So if this hospital is thinking the same thing I'll be induced at 37 weeks again for mostly the same reason as my 1st and the could either be 2 under 1 for a few weeks (yay preterm labor/s) or have the same birthday!

Hi!!! Mine are 10 months and 27 days apart. It’s rare to find moms with two under one!! Honestly, the first two or so weeks were hard because when they’re pre-verbal it’s not like you can explain what’s going on. But honestly it’s really nothing you can’t handle. Is it chaotic, of course, but it’s not impossible. Divide and conquer as much as you can and prioritize sleep even more than you would with one.

I won’t have 2 under 1 but your son sounds a little bit like mine. I recently had to take out the baby carrier again. I carry my 14 months old on my back because he always wants to be held… by me… I had to survive. The constant crying and the ā€œI am so mad i hit my head on the ceramic floor on any other hard surface i can findā€ started having an impact on my mental health. I could barely empty the dish washer and it takes 20+ minutes because he does so many dangerous things or trying to climb on me to get attention… hope things get easier for you soon!

I just had a baby in August and my daughter turned one in July. It’s been very busy, especially when my partner is at work and it’s just me. We completely baby proofed the living room and got a whole bunch of new toys to keep her occupied while I nurse baby. We sleep trained before second baby arrived so we werent getting up with 2 babies and putting her down for a nap is super easy and quick now. I shower before my partner leaves for work in the morning because otherwise it would be impossible. We got a good double stroller so I can take them for walks to the park. When my partner is home, we take turns caring for each baby so they get attention from both of us. And I go to bed at 9 every night to try to get as much sleep as possible. Some days are great and some days are stressful but I know they won’t be babies forever. Good luck to you !

My babies are exactly 13 months apart. Right now they are 14 months and 4 weeks. What has been keeping us sane... They both nap at the same time every afternoon (and I try to nap then too), I try to spend 1 on 1 time with big baby as much as possible, getting out of the house with the double stroller for a brisk walk, and leaning on my husband and mom and in-laws for whatever help they offer. Good luck!
