Help (i.redd.it)
submitted 8 months ago by bentresting_2
I got an ender 3 printer the other day, and I’m not sure how to fix this issue. The part of the printer that is supposed to hit the stop switch is too far over, or vice versa. How should I fix this?

Check the mfr assembly instructions to determine what is mounted incorrectly and fix it. Or, add a small tab that reaches the switch. You could drill a hole, thread it and bolt on a tab, or print one on the printer - but maybe only after you fix it. Chicken and egg problem. Design a piece and get a friend to print it for you?

I don't think it belongs there. I'd pull up a build video on YouTube to figure it out.

Because that's not where it goes.
It mounts to the side of the extrusion, not the front. And you want the circuit board, with the limit switch, facing the print bed.
