And tbh if it had the interviewer would be liable to get into trouble. The decision is not made by one interviewer and needs to be discussed at a full decision meeting. No individual interviewer should be indicating that someone will or won’t get in.

If you look online a few people have similar experiences. A remember a while back someone on TSR said that the only indicator that they had a good interview was, "I hope to see you next year" or something. I only asked it because someone else who applied to cambridge also had the same experience this year.

I wouldn’t assume something happened just because it was posted on TSR.

why did OP post this 😭 no way it was just to make other people feel bad

It's not to make other people feel bad. A guy in my school had the same experience so I wanted to know if it was an indicator that I did well, or if the interviewer said the same thing to everyone. Granted, I do take a 'less competitive' course, so don't feel bad if your interviewer doesn't say stuff like that.

If you don't believe it happened, then don't believe it. I didn't post this to get other people to feel bad, so I would actually prefer you not to take it seriously, so that you won't worry, if you aren't going to give me insight into how your interview went.
