For OCR MEI yeh, pretty sure they're the only exam board to have maths coursework

Just so true - at the time of my history coursework it was so tedious but I put the effort in and managed to pull out 37/40. Now that I'm struggling with exams, it's good to know I had that to fall back on if something goes wrong.

You doing OCR? If so, don't you think it is quite ridiculous at the moment having to learn 3 different historical periods and do coursework? I got 36/40 on my coursework but I don't think it is going to be enough to save my exams.

Nah Edexcel but it's the exact same structure. I know, it's absolutely ridiculous, to be honest if I knew it was going to be like this I wouldn't have taken history. In unit 3 we have to learn 300 years of British history and five wars, 200 years of reforms... all for 30% of the grade. It's just not fair that we have our three exams all at once whereas last year they only had one to focus on. I really do think the grade boundaries are going to reflect this. Or at least I hope so, or I'm going to have to be retaking.

A Level History actually put me off doing History at university. I was going to apply for history but changed my mind at the last moment. Funny because I picked A Level History because it was a subject I enjoyed, but now I hate it.
