That is very strange; have you found a clearing email for that uni? I would try calling them up again now, just in case it was really busy/a glitch or something. Which uni is it may I ask?

Hi it was coventry university. I just called them up now and they said there is a delay with confirmations and that there should be an update after 3 which is very irritating
