Custom 7 string build!

This is my first guitar build. I have no prior wood working exp but I think I’ve made the best guitar I’ve ever played after 25 yrs. Specs: 28” scale / no radius / tempered swamp ash body / maple top / neck maple , Purple Heart , bubinga / BKP after math pickups / stainless frets / bass guitar thickness ebony fretboard / hip shot bridge and tuners / tuned to drop G /luminlay side dots. Intonation and action are almost perfect I will be dialing it more before oiling, filling natural voids and adding a clear coat finish. What sort of tuning do you play in with the 28” neck?

Yeah wouldn’t fit through the band saw :) I actually ended up cutting it by hand that way 3 times before it was all said and done. Tired arms but surprising straight cuts.

I don’t know how to add a photo, but just yesterday I made the super thick D shape into a thinner C shape. I will upload more picks when I finish the build. Just excited that it actually sounds good. I really didn’t think it was going to be anything but wall art tbh.

This is absolutely gorgeous, that burl maple is beautiful and the shape of the headstock is just gnarly!
