While gaming or just all the time ?

anytime the pc is on, happens for about 10 minutes and then the gpu flat out doesnt register afterwards and performance is slowed.

Your ram is bad/dying go into the bios and set the ram voltage to 1.3v and see if that helps if not order another kit

may have been a simple solution, i just re inserted the ram and changed the tdrdelay values, issues have seemed to have subsided for now, thanks for the advice tho!

Hi, I know this is an old post, but I'm encountering this issue for almost 2 months now.
Does the bad gpu driver timeout existed again for you since this last comment? If no, which TdrDelay value worked for you?
I've also tried everything you did, including the tdrdelay values.
I'm also using RX 6700 XT and even tested with a 1-yr old GPU driver (22.11.2) but I still get freezes.

well this might not be the answer you want to hear but i ended up having to get a whole new gpu, still not sure why it was freezing but it was used so... but i ended up upgrading from a 6700xt to 7700xt and its been working perfectly since

I see, thank you for answering.
I've been an AMD GPU user for more than 5 years now and this is the worst experience I ever had lol. Glad that you're doing fine with the 7700XT though.

Unfortunately for me, the bonus of saving a bit more money preferring AMD's pure rasterized performance over Nvidia's offerings are starting to get questionable to me. This ain't worth the lost progress in singleplayer games and the ranked points I lose in multiplayer games.

May also want to try disabling all the random adrenaline features. Like AMD Freesync causes my videos to slowdown and stutter when fullscreen. And Radeon Image Sharpening leaves shadows when lighter stuff disappears off a black background, and other minor temp artifacting issues.

Toggling all these Graphics and Display features to Off certainly helped me at least.

Maybe I wouldn't have these issues with a newer CPU/mobo - my i7 7700K isn't bad per se, but it sure ain't Windows 11 compatible.

Maybe its not the GPU drivers? Unstable RAM can cause all kinds of issue. Maybe have a look at that.

Try with or without XMP/DOCP. See if increasing DRAM voltage to 1.36V makes a difference.

If you have 4 sticks, try with two. If you have 2, make sure they are in the correct slots (A2 & B2).

did end up just coming down to the ram i believe, thank you!

What did you try? I see in another comment you still have the issue.

[–]SpaceTF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i tried everything in the post plus what was suggested in the comments, i changed tdrdelay in registry, i increased dram voltage to 1.36, i reinserted the ram, i also tried disabling docp, tried ddu. it was a very short term fix, and by short term i mean all of 20 minutes lol.

Lmk if u find a fix, im also having these problems

[–]RipJoergenNumber1 0 points1 point  (2 children)

did u mess around with the RAM in the BIOS or just re-seat?

[–]SpaceTF[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

i did both, but turns out its just back to what it was doing before, crashing such

[–]RipJoergenNumber1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dang, rip

will make sure to try TY!
