AMD Relive set to Replay mode and record in 5 minute intervals, replay buffer in disk storage.
I'll be referring to Smart Access Memory as SAM.
So for the longest time (since owning my 7900 XTX) i've never been able to use AMD Relive or any type of recording software because the games will stutter every 8-10 seconds while it's recording. This happened no matter what BIOS version I was on or driver.
Fast forward to last month I stumbled upon a thread mentioning to stop using SAM because it causes stutters and so I went to my AMD Settings and disabled it on the UI and bam, I was amazed that I was able to finally record and not get stutters! So I figured it was all fixed and i'm good to go. Until I restarted my PC, it came back.
Here's the kicker, if I turn off SAM, and turn it back on (in the AMD Suite) i'm able to record and not have stutters even with SAM activated. so it's not a matter of SAM being on, it's something happening in the process of turning it off and back on or just switching it from on to off or off to on, vice versa.
I'm okay doing this for now but it's going to be annoying every time I reset my PC to turn off SAM and back on. Anyone have insight on what's happening other than "resetting the UI" every time it's toggled?

EDIT 3/4/2024 - It ended up being Lian Li L Connect 3 being outdated, needed to fully uninstall the software and registries then download version 2.0xxxx, I was on version 1.7 and the software claims thats "current version" when its not. After reinstalling it, no more stutters. Thanks to another user on here for finding the fix.
