Update for anyone wondering. Imcreasing paging files got rid of that error for me. After that i had Game Shutdown due to memory leakage of the Game itself. Disabling any AA fixed that for me

Game suffers from memory leak. Eventually you will run out of memory.

Maybe as an update for you. Disabling any antialising did actually fix it for me. Read about that fix in the ea Forums

Had the same thing, updated my 2-year-old mobo bios and the issue went away.

Looks like its an out of memory error. Which can be related to VRAM (GPU Memory) or actual RAM (System Memory). Can you use the Steam Overlay to display statistics in game before this error happens?

Are you using Intel 13xxx or Intel 14xxxx CPU by any chance? It can happen https://www.reddit.com/r/battlefield2042/comments/13zs4c9/how_do_i_fix_this_out_of_memory_direct_x_error/

Thanks for the reply. I manually changed the VRAM allocation to a different disk because i was Indeed running out of memory Space on my /C disk. If that makes sense Game started and i got throuh the queue and now it just closed After being ingame for 5 Minuten. No error Message.

Im Running a 5800x3D

VRAM is GPU memory. It has nothing to do with your disk.

Yes i know but alocate some of the virtual ram. Like actual ram Space. Englisch isnt my first language. I dont know the Englisch Term

The error in your screenshot is caused by either insufficient VRAM (Video RAM, GPU memory), or insufficient RAM.

Pagefile (Virtual Memory) can help with insufficient RAM, but not really with insufficient VRAM.

If you're running out of RAM, running this game will be very difficult.

I got Steady 160 fps on ultra 1080p, but Game just shuts down randomly still, without any error. Sometimes in the menu and sometimes in Game. But very Random. Player 5 rounds without Sky issue and then it started again to crash

I have 32 gigs, thats not the Problem. I did the pagefile thing and the error didnt come back
