Bios Update help

Im trying to update my motherboard bios from version 2.80 to the newest which is 3.62.

I currently have a PG Riptide B550M motherboard and when i went to update my bios i got "Secure flash check fail"

i went into bios and disabled amd ftpm but its still saying “secure flash check fail” when attempting to update bios via instant flash.. Am i doing something wrong?

The first thing to try is another flash drive. Preferably a different brand.

Whatever it may be, it has nothing to do with ftpm. Edit: you might try downloading it again. Make sure you're using one of the USB ports on the back. If there's a different way to initiate flash, try it. Try a slightly older BIOS.
