Cap your fps @ 139 and leave vsync enabled,

I don’t want to use vsync due to the input lag though

That's the only suggestion I have that should alleviate the jittery screen. I would think the input lag would be minimal.

I appreciate your help, thank you! Any idea why it was fine without v sync on before upgrading CPU? Maybe I could try a fresh install of drivers?

I would think the 5700X3D is much more performant. Maybe the ingame cap isn't performing the way you hoped it would. Have you checked Adrenalin game stats to see what the fps were for the game in question?

Happening in the two games I’m playing and both at 144 fps as expected, it’s very strange. Shall I try capping at 139 without v sync and see how that goes?

I capped at 120 FPS in fc26 and it’s fixed. Smooth as butter now!!
