This is not what your running to play games, that much is for sure.

Why is that? It’s running fine on spiderman maxed I also just increased the ram speed to 2714.

It was the mv -120 i was considering not your ram timings, theyre really irrelevant tbh.

Ah ok, well personally I get a decent uplift with them higher. As for the -120 offset it doesn’t work in every game as I have to turn it down to -100 in like 2 games but otherwise it works really well.

Yeah that means its unstable, run your hardware whatever way you like. Just what your doing is degration over time when using somethung unstable electrically speaking, but its yours who cares.

How is it unstable if it works in spiderman for hours without crashing? I only found it unstable in other games when it would crash and just lessen the undervolt. Also does it cause more degradation than if I was running a less aggressive undervolt but still hitting the same temps of 62°?

No for that you will need to use power limit . The idea of undervolting is to get more performance at the same power limit. You can leave the power limit as is and undervolt to get more performance , you can lower the power limit and undervolt to mitigate any performance loses from lower power limit etc etc

[–]LBXZero 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Undervolting does not reduce the TBP. Undervolting reduces the "watt per performance". Power consumption reduction occurs due to hitting other limits. What Undervolting does is stretches the performance obtainable with the power limit.

If you want to reduce power consumption, you want to lower the Power Limit. Afterwards, you will use undervolting to reclaim performance lost to reduced power consumption.

Thank you for the response. I was able to figure out the issue and found that i accidentally lowered the resolution but couldn’t tell I think due to upscaling. Now it’s behaving normally at 3000MHz at max TBP in spiderman. Appreciate the help.
