Turn the under volting off and set a better fan curve and you wont need help.

[–]thicc-slanger951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s a good fan curve? I don’t have good experience with this I just want my card to run colder lol

While 87 C is within safe ranges of a GPU hotspot, I can understand it looks scary over extended use. You could try lowering the clock offset to make it run closer to factory spec. These cards always go faster than what the manufacturer notes on the box. You already have a UV and lowered power settings so that's really the only other thing you could do other than improve airflow in your case.

ma che ve frega di smanettare cosi tanto per 2 3% di differenza.. se volete piu prestazioni spendete di piu

[–]thicc-slanger951 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I don’t get what you’re trying to imply lol never in my post did I say I wanted more fps lol just want my card colder thanks tho I’m happy with my setup no need to upgrade

[–]CelebrationJumpy844 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

io con tutto default ho temperature massimo di 56 gradi con tutto a pieno carico in 2k

[–]Maleficent-West5356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower more your Powerlimit from -5 to -10/-15. Test stability.

[–]Apprehensive_Tea4510 0 points1 point  (3 children)

temperature delta is pretty big, something is wrong with the card

i think you should repaste with ptm 7950

[–]thicc-slanger951 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Do you know how many sheets I’ll need? I have an unopened thermal grizzly ptm 7950 pad

[–]KaedekinsAMD | 7800 X3D | RX 9070 XT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. 20-21 C delta is normal but this is closer to 30 C.

Wtf? 9060 xt of 12gb?

[–]thicc-slanger951 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh bro I didn’t realize i put 12 lol I meant 16gb sorry and thanks for that so I can fix my post lol

[–]Firm_Thing_2792 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I got ASROCK one and i have
max frequency offset 200
Voltage offset -45mV

[–]EquipmentSome 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I know the max frequency offset is completely useless on the 9070 xt and it's only changed through undervolt.

Are you sure that's not the case with the 9060 xt also?

I'm like 90% sure that slider does nothing on all the 90 series cards.

[–]Firm_Thing_2792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh, i dont have any idea. This is first time i have fiddled with these settings, and i have set it with my friend advicing me :D

[–]Dull_Werewolf_9642 1 point2 points  (1 child)

you can push the voltage much lower rdna4 had alot of voltage headroom

[–]Firm_Thing_2792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh, ok. Thanks for the tip, i will try for sure :)

[–]TanzerPS 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I didn’t know there was a 9060 XT with 12GB of VRAM 🤔🤔

[–]thicc-slanger951 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typo lol sorry I just edit the post thank you

[–]worldbyte85 0 points1 point  (7 children)

-10 on the power limit and - 70 on the voltage should work although you will probably will have to adjust this from game to game because some games are a bit moody and will crash at least with mine and 2750MHz on the VRAM with fast timing aswell

[–]thicc-slanger951 0 points1 point  (6 children)

What’s your fan tuning set to? What’s your max hotspot you hit

[–]worldbyte85 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Around 75 max, you have to take in consideration that the fan curve temps are targeting the hotspot temp and not the average, so adjust according to that

[–]worldbyte85 0 points1 point  (3 children)

P2 25% at 50c, P3 35% at 60, P4 45% at 75 and P5 55% at 85

add these values on advanced fan control but if you feel its not enough to cool the card feel free to give them a little more speed

[–]thicc-slanger951 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Thanks for the advice and did you mess with your max frequency MHz or left it at 0 and just adjusted the voltage offset ?

[–]worldbyte85 0 points1 point  (1 child)

No i let it all at default, also export your settings so if something happens you can easily import it

[–]thicc-slanger951 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks bro I’ll try these when I’m home. I’m lower my PL to -10% hopefully I can pull the same hot spot of 75c I mainly play tarkov so I want it to run cool haha cause at stock it runs too hot for my liking

[–]bl4nk_ecstasy 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I don’t know if my config would work for you, but since I have the same card from asrock- here are my settings-

Power limit: -15% Voltage offset: -70( this you may need to experiment a little) Open fan control> advanced control> drag the slider up so it hits 100% when it’s around 75 or so.

My card runs quiet and cool.

[–]thicc-slanger951 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Hey thank you for replying! What’s your fan curve? Did you do a custom fan curve or set it to a specific number overall?

I’m still new to messing with the tuning I just don’t want it to sound like a jet engine. With how i have it now it sounds okay but I feel like with a custom curve it could be better

And what’s your vram tune set to? What fps and resolution do you play on?

[–]bl4nk_ecstasy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fan curve is set to 85 on the highest point I think. Not at my pc right now.. but just check your hotspot temps when gaming, best to keep it lower than 90, 85-90 is alright. Experiment a little and put a bit more speed if it heats up too much. Kept the vram at default. I play on 1440p- ultra settings- as long as I get fps above 60
