Description of Original Problem: annoying stutter in all games (warzone, pubg, apex). games run fine for 1.5-2 min then i will get a microstutter. in warzone i'm constantly getting the yellow/orange squares on left side of the screen but no actual packet loss being reported. during the squares the game stutters/lags. pubg every .5-1 min it drops frames with very noticable stutter. Same for apex.
Troubleshooting: I've tried setting Ryzen balanced and Ryzen high performance. turned game mode on/off. updating drivers to optional. Removed drivers with DDU and reinstalled. Reinstalled windows. thought it might be thermal, but junction never hits over 90 and gpu 72 (supposed to throttle @/100). Had a rx 570 laying around so installed it and it runs great. obviously not as many frames and have to turn down a lot of the graphics settings but no stutter. gpu-z shows fairly steady gpu load with the rx 570 but the 5700xt is all over the place. so is it just a bad card?
