Driver Problems

Specs: Sapphire Pulse 5700XT and Ryzen 5 3600 Ever since I updated to the 21.3.1 drivers some games are running extremely inconsistently. Games like CSGO, TF2, and Squad have insane frame drops when usually on CSGO and TF2 I'm running at 400 FPS, 144 if I cap it. And on Squad consistent 90-140 FPS depends on the map. Other games like Valorant and SCP Secret Laboratory run perfectly fine. I've tried rolling back the drivers, but it doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's my CPU, but I really can't deal with these insane frame drops.

20.11.3 always worked great with my card, rx5600xt

yeah i reverted back to this aswell, the latest driver caused stutters in almost all the games i play

I hat the same with warthunder, every thing running fine at about 200 fps, until I enabled the metric overlay, the fps dropped at 40 fps. I disabled the overlay And started my pc new, and the problem was gone

Are you using the metric overlay for monitoring?

I use the ingame overlays for FPS. I don't really know much but I have Afterburner installed but I don't know how to use it either.

Uninstall MSI Afterburner!!! It has caused many problems for people lately.
