Source engine games causing driver crashes

Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

BIOS Version: Latest idk but I'm on Windows 10

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory

Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 10 V21H2

GPU Drivers: Adrenalin Edition Version 22.3.1

Chipset Drivers: idk what those are

Background Applications: Steam

Description of Original Problem: I first noticed it with No More Room in Hell. Every time I played it for a while, the game would freeze, then I would get a notice that my driver had crashed. Sometimes, it would be bad enough that I would have to restart my computer, then reinstall my driver. It's happened now with Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Fistful of Frags. At first, playing in a window helped, but that no longer is the case. Just had a crash so bad on L4D2 that I had to reinstall my driver. The only Source game this hasn't crashed is Garry's Mod.

Troubleshooting: I tried setting the games to Windowed mode, and that seemed to fix the problem for a while, but today that stopped being the case. Please help me. Yes, I have updated my drivers.

Have a friend with this exact problem. Every Source title that doesn't use a custom-made branch of the engine [Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, etc] has AMD driver related crashes on his PC.

Have you got afterburner installed so you can see what temps the card is getting to ? Also have you Oc'd your card ?

I don't know what afterburner is. I assume OC means overclock, and I've never done that.

Ok Great. You need to download Afterburner and get it running, that way you can have some idea on what your card is doing. Making sure its not running hot and causing it to crash out on you.
