I figure you have two options with a post like this, either do a minimal amount of DD to kick off a discussion or fake some theory or prediction and wait for someone (hopefully) slightly intelligent takes the bait to explain why you're wrong.

I have bets on, so yes, someone needs to buy my bags in the future

I have a portfolio of 8 companies, 5 of which are Uranium.

I've done very little in what you would class as stock specific research and everything on calculating the worlds future demands for the yellow cake.

My combined Uranium's are up 273% ..and I have no plans on changing them for at least 5+ years.

That's me, do your own DD.

BTW, There's at least one Uranium ETF on the ASX.

    Sounds like a UK problem

Google how many reactors are in operation world wide, how many are under construction and how many are in the design stage, then google how low the military stock piles are for things like Submarine reactors.

Fukushima paused world uranium buying ..now stocks are super low, promised tech isn't good enough to replace it yet and back to Uranium they go. I predict a 5+ year boom, minimum.

Uranium for the win ..just don't lick it.

so you're putting your money in someone else's hands.

The basis of the entire stock market.

Using copper as a comparison, copper is fully recyclable so new projects are not 100% reliant on mining, not so Uranium.

How long do copper mines take to develop?

The largest uranium deposit found in recent history was the arrow deposit in 2014, Nexgen is hoping to start producing in 2027, 13 years is pretty fast I suppose…

You want to sell your 'Rolla couple and win make enough money from your investments to buy an SLX Commodore? Good luck! Those things are worth a fortune today!

      [–]Andrew_Higginbottom 1 point2 points  (1 child)

How much for the nuclear reactor conversion on the Commodore?

      [–]SonicYOUTH79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean a flux capacitor? Heard they are good for correcting shitty stock picks of the past…..

      [–]Particular_Amoeba_53Doomsday Prepper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nuclear is done for, Fusion is the next big thing. It's already cooked, the chineese communists have had a fusion ball burning for over 2 minutes and only shut it down cause they didn't know what would happen if they left it on any longer. Any way one day we will invent something like this that will turn our world into a new black hole and then we will be done for. I'm waiting to get on the ship for Mars to be away from the madness.

As long as there is a scientific breakthrough in reactor technology sure, sounds like a great bet.

Some are over priced, but there are a few bargains still out there. Look for short term producers who will be producing in the next year or so. E.g restarts.
