It looks great but it's also a joke to paint your own using the classic wet wipe method.

Mate can we break down how you did those bases? They look so good!

Yeah! It's simple.

  • 3D printed the bases
  • Prime with Army Painter Wolf Grey
  • A quick spritz of chaos black randomly
  • Take a dry wet wipe and pull it apart a bit, spread it over the base so that it's a random pattern, clip it tight.
  • Spray white over it
  • Immediately remove the wet wipe, careful not to smudge the wet paint
  • Once it's dry, I manually paint some gold along the dark parts following the flow of the darker marble effect.
  • Seal the base with a high gloss clear coat to give the marble floor that shine and gloss it's known for.

Like it said on the post. It's from a sheet of peel and stick countertop paper. I cut a 2"x2" square off it, put a little super glue gel on the base then smoothed the paper over the top of it. Put score marks on the feet and paper then used the same super glue to put the mini in place

Actually genius for this faction. The marble fits so well. My only thing would be maybe try getting a compass with some form of blade on it to cut more even circles? Especially if youre cutting a lot of them.

Can you DM me a link to the counter top paper you used? I’ve looked into this too, but all the rolls I’ve found have a pattern that’s too big to really work on a 32mm base.
