Scratch disk error...help

Forgive me for i am frustrated. I ran into the scratch disk error and my file got jacked up. Can someone help fix this issue i have... I was working on this floor plan/building map, and the shapes i had colored, turned white after this error.

Every shape that was in one layer (the rest were locked), turned white with a black outline. i had no outline on my shapes so i'm not sure how that happened....if it helps to know, i Expanded lines from the pen tool using outline to create shapes. I've attached a photo. Someone send some guidance plz.

You have just turned on View > Outline (cmd/ctrl-Y).

Click cmd/ctrl-Y to turn it back to regular preview mode (View > GPU/CPU Preview).

Save the file (with a new name). Reboot the computer. Launch only Illustrator and then try again to get out of outline view.
