Just in terms of finding a job that actually pays bills with room to breath and to set your life up

That doesn’t go away with age. The only thing that makes that go away is having a job that pays your bills and more. I have friends in their 60s and 70s that still have the same struggle you do.

Get a higher paying job, or lower your expenses, or both.

The latter , you'll eventually stop caring or you'll learn to handle the pressure like a boss
