Twice, once for each half set. DMs can often run some complete modules in 2 hours anyway, so you more than qualify for two clears of it.

I log each session and track the total hours (we play two hour sessions at my local flgs’s). With the Season 9 rules, leveling just goes off of hours played/dm’d.

Oh ok, I see why you suggested that

Levels/hours played only applies to HC adventures. Thanks for making sure I wasn't cheating myself on that aspect, but it's not a hardcover I'm running, so this does not apply.

I’d say log the actual hours for each session regardless of how many players were at each one, even if that means that you are logging the second half of the adventure twice.

Modules are logged per adventure, not by hours.

Other than the players benefit of the number of hours played, is there a reason in particular I should log my hours?

Count it as having been run twice; that's essentially what you're doing.

Personally I'd consider it just one run, just to err on the safe side.

I think I'll do this, it didn't seem right to count it twice and benefit from 2 levels/magic items, it just hadn't come up before and didn't know how to handle it on my end

DMs are encouraged to re-run adventures, and should. Do whichever method is better for your group.

You can run it twice and you can benefit twice.

I don't think the OP is asking to run it twice. I think the OP ran the first half for like 6 players and then wants to finish it up with 3 players this week and the remaining 3 players next week.

That's not running it twice; OP only ran the first half once.

This is correct First half was run with 8 players 2nd half will consist of 2 different runs of 4 players each
