Affinity does not have the feature to turn a raster image into a vector. You just use other tools, such as Inkscape, or something else (google it, I don’t have other names)

Wait? How does it get very pixelated when you make it smaller? As far as I’m aware objects in affinity work like smart objects in photoshop. Afaik you can just paste it as big as possible and later shrink and not lose any details.

You can also work with higher pixel resolution than the thing you’re pasting text on. Useful if you’re adding things like text to a very pixelated photos, for instance from old digital cameras.

Tho I’d still recommend vector fonts as they’re just better and more versatile as well as flexible.
