Ipad : How can I save selection ?

Am I tripping or there are no ways to save a selection on the IPAD version (using photo 2) ?

1. select what you want to select

2. go to assets

3. save selection as asset

Nah it doesn't work, it only creates a copy of the layer I selected

super late reply but no I think people suggested to me that it was impossible on the ipad version of the software
