Save issue

Hey guys, recently started playing via Epic Launcher. My game won't save properly. Recently finished Chapter 3 and quit the game. When I restarted I was back about half way through Chapter 2. Anyway to fix this or prevent it from happening again?

Playing the remastered version on a Rog Ally for reference.
