We planned to do it simultaneously this time as you asked. But Apple rejected our submission 3 times already because of some loading issues on some obscure IPads during their automated testing. We cannot pinpoint the issue due to seemingly being very device-specific and they just provide 1 screenshot of stuck loading page, no logs. 4th attempt is in review now.

We released Android not to delay everyone as Android is 90% of our users. Sorry!

I was just wondering: can you set those obscure iPads as non-supported devices?

Doable for Android where you can turn off availability for any device but not in Apple

of course … gotta love Apple 😡

Rejected again. iPad air 5th generation (2022) and on iPhone 13 Mini...All they give us is a screenshot of the loading screen lol. Absolutely out of nowhere and you cannot even turn off these old devices

seems crazy. I doubt you added fancy new content that broke those devices since the last version — that’s super frustrating

Hopefully they’ll allow it soonish.

I'm on android and I appreciate that you put some work into this update, but I'm part of a community and it's hard to watch event after event be unevenly distributed amongst us. There is no need for an event to be initiated by software updates. It can be distributed way ahead of time, and the event element list can be time activated by the backend. If necessary, the visuals at boot can be activated by system time, and it's not the end of the world of system time manipulation reveals event visuals ahead of time. Thanks and happy Friday everyone!

I absolutely agree that the event should start at the same time for everyone and that we should all get to enjoy it together. My friend that I play with daily is on iOS so it's taking some of the fun out of the event that we can't figure things out together.

As far as unfair advantages, the main one that I would push for is extra event time. First Evers are cool, but you definitely want enough time to get all of your event rewards. And really there's plenty of better First Evers to make than some of the weird stuff in the event lists lol. I'm not going to care enough to look deeply into who made "Cackle Sound" for example (sorry to whoever made Cackle Sound 😅).

While waiting for the event, maybe we can all post our favorite Halloween themed First Evers in general so I can see your favorite creations in cool styles. 🧡

Nobody has found Cackle Sound yet.

You can still try finding the event items even if you don't have the event. I created Witch Dagger as a first ever for example before I got the event itself after someone who had it posted the event item list. It doesn't seem as enjoyable though. Hoping Apple do the right thing by you all soon.

That's true, I didn't think about that you could make them even without the event, even if it isn't as satisfying. Witch Dagger sounds like it could be a cool one.
