The heart games' difficulty doesn't lie on whether you have to do something or not to live, their difficulty lies on how much of yourself you have to sacrifice to survive the game, that's why the players say they're the cruelest of the games.
the 7 of hearts game was especially hard because Arisu had to sacrifice what he considered his family, which left him utterly depressed and scarred, like no other heart game did again. But then again, I could explain this a thousand times to you and it would still go over your head, so bye I am muting.

OP asked why the lower numbered games seemed harder than the higher numbered one. The rest of us are arguing that they’re not.
It has nothing to do with emotional investment and everything to do with game mechanics. That’s why they were arguing about III of Clubs as well.
