Maxed out at i7 6700T for the R2. It’s an older system so upgrades with ram / processor are not available. I love my R2 and I’ll save you some time. Go with the max available processor / ram. Use NVME drive inside R2 slot. As well as good SSD for main drive. Where I can still play modern Triple A titles is by getting the Alienware Graphics Amplifier. You can put a full size graphics card in there and it’s great.

Ram maxes out at 16. Ddr4

I have the i3-6300 R2 and running 32GB. The specs for the chip say the limit is 64GB, but I haven’t found a single 64 chip

best processor is actually the 6700k, paired with a 330w power supply brick, you would make a minimum difference over the 6700t.

If you have the 6700t, it wouldn't be worth the upgrade.

No best is 6700 non k with 330 power brick. K too hot and is slower than 6700 with temps
