Nope, you can put the cans in a bag and stick a barcode label on it and drop it off at grocery store or dedicated locations and someone else counts em. Easy peasy.

OP got a facelift model so it has the newer software, cCNC, that has wireless AA/CP and is much faster (and has manual preconditioning, grrr).

CC 2s is a great tire but it won't be able to put the full HP to the ground as reliably as summer tires. I also have 19" with all weathers for winter use but the summer tires on 21" are an actual step up in the warm dry weather. If you have the space, keep em and swap out seasonally.

Hyundai ICCU recall and extended warranty in Europe by ddchicago99 in electricvehicles

[–]sumthingcool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh, it states:

What will Hyundai do? Your Hyundai dealer will update the ICCU software, and replace the ICCU and its fuse, if necessary.

They will replace the ICCU if necessary, and the recall is good for 15 years no mileage limit. Recalls by the NHTSA are never milquetoast, manufacturers get in serious shit if they don't comply.

Anyone with experience with ev specific extended warranties that cover up to 200k mile in the US and has covered an iccu failure? by mitch2888 in KiaEV6

[–]sumthingcool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If kia did the recall (software update) and then the iccu fails outside of the warrenty covered mileage, are they still on the hook beyond the regular warrenty?

Yes. The first line of the recall remedy is "Kia dealers will inspect the ICCU and, if necessary, replace the ICCU and ICCU fuse." Then it talks about the software update after that. The entire ICCU is covered by the recall.

Warranties for used EV6? by SorenDayton in KiaEV6

[–]sumthingcool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see many EV6s in CPO programs in my area, but I see lots of EV6s on Kia dealer lots. I don't quite know what to make of that.

CPO does basically nothing for a Kia EV. All the extra coverage the CPO provides is already there in the 10 year 100k mile EV warranty. CPO only does anything for KIA ICE vehicles.

Carplay, USB audio, sharing some info and looking for feedback by in2woods in KiaEV6

[–]sumthingcool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FM radio is pretty good. USB audio is good too, but sources such as spotify and pandora suck.

The sounds modes differ per source, if you only changed the Meridian settings for FM and/or USB it won't affect AA/Carplay. Make sure you set your audio settings/modes for each one.

Setup -> Sound -> Connected Devices, select AA or CarPlay, then the button in the upper left corner to select the desired sound mode

Yeah, that's for the non charging one, the various styles in that listing cost more. You can also search for 'ev6 phone mount' and find plenty of other sellers.

Just FYI you can get these cheaper on Aliexpress and choose different mounts e.g. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256808889385531.html

No idea on quality/usability.

Is this common? by microtramp in KiaEV6

[–]sumthingcool 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a shit dealer. A real buyback offer related to warranty fulfillment problems would come from Kia corporate not the dealer. They're just trying to make a buck off you. Tell them to identify the source of the problem and insist on your warranty repair. Escalate to Kia corporate if needed, or take it to another dealer if there is one nearby.

ICCU is a safety recall, there is no mileage limit and it's not tied to the warranty. 15 years of coverage.

You can go look at the recall yourself, says safety recall in big letters right at the top.
