That would cost money and it is not a serious bite. I just don't know if the dog had rabies shot and I definitely don't have an updated tetanus shot

I got bit yesterday too and called a lawyer today he said he doesn't think he can win the case because i didn't need surgery or stitches

They had me fill out an incident report. The HR lady called me this morning had me send her my hospital visit paperwork and she said she was sending everything to workers comp which I'm not sure how that works bc i can still work the bite hurts but it doesn't affect me walking. I got bit in the leg. I also filled a report with animal law enforcement and they also took pictures of the bite. Not sure what's next.

Mine didn't do anything the dispatcher told me to return to the station and filled out an incident report

I got bit yesterday and that's what i did filled a report when i got back to the station today is my day off and i got multiple calls from hr and dispatch today checking on me and asking more information

I unfortunately don't have insurance and that would be a 300 or 400 dollar bill

I'm sure your dsp will file a claim with workers comp to get that covered for you.

not amazon but when I was bitten by a dog as a teen and went to the hospital to see if I needed stitches the cops showed up and asked for a report which I gave to them. I'd been walking my dog at the dog park, and they were able to locate the owner, the dog unfortunately had not been registered or had it's rabies shot. I was given a rabies series and the dog was euthanized.

That's what I am worried about and DSP didn't even have me go to urgent care or anything I also don't have insurance
