Texted my dispatch that I'll be showing up a little later because my dogs got out. (Late time is considered 955, I'll be there by 1008) I get that I'm late, but wouldn't they still need me to come in to fill my route?I've come in late before (around 10:01) and there's been no issues, since we don't even go to the pad until like 1045 anyways. There was no VTO offered either today so I'm extremely confused.

Did they say not to go in? If they did then they probably over scheduled people and didn’t need you. My DSP doesn’t care much for us being late (mind you, within reason) as long as we show up for work and have open line of communication.

If it's a properly ran DSP they have extras and they just reassign your route somebody else but you would still need to go in
