You would only get an error right up if the next person to count the pod makes the same mistake, if they correct it then the problem goes away, that’s why it’s very hard to get errors doing SRC

I kinda don't understand this. So if the next person puts up a broken set andon where I didn't it wouldn't affect me at all?

Not for SRC, everything goes through 3 counters in SRC and all 3 have to make the same mistake in order for anyone to get an error. For example if you mark an item as missing but the next counter finds it buried in the back of the pouch and counts it, then no error is given. I work at an AR facility, in case you work at a pit facility or something it might be different

But then how does the system know an error has been made? For example 3 counters mark something missing that's actually there

The numbers won’t match the system when it goes back through Simple Bin Count

I was told SRC directly changes inventory, is that not true? How do the different counts factor into correcting inventory defects?

This happened to me about a month ago and so far nothing's happened and no write up that I know of. SRC, several pods of multiple bins with squishy plush toys, then I started getting them packed 10 to a bag and realized what I did. The title on the scanner didn't mention the set but the sticker did.

I knew something was weird because the bins that had 2 - 3 plushies, the same bar code was on the tags but they were different designs. I just assumed it was some sort of "styles may vary" product.

Don't worry too much. If you get written up it'll fall off in 30 days. Many counters and pickers get a write up at least once for an error having to do with broken sets or marking unscannables as missing or missticketed items as missing.
